Kothon aus Byzantion und bekränze mit goldenemKranz wegen seines Wohlwollens und seines Ehrgeizes, den erhegt für die Athener; dass er sein soll auch proxenosund Wohltäter des Volkes und man ihm gebe das Recht zum Erwerbvon Land und Haus gemäß den Gesetzen; dass man belobigeauch die Trierarchen mit ihm: Me-nophanes S.d. Asklepiades, Hekataios S.d. Kolchos, und denSchatzmeister Glaukos S.d. Lysias aus Byzantion, und bekränzeeinen jeden von ihnen mit einem Olivenkranz wegen ihresWohlwollens gegenüber dem Volk; dass man Erisund Menophanes und Hekataios und den Schatzmeisterzum Bankett lade in das Prytaneion zum Festbankett für morgen; dasssie, wenn sie auch in Zukunft ehrgeizig sind undsoviel als möglich ihr Wohlwollen gegenüber denAtheners erweisen, auch noch andere Auszeichnung finden werdenbei dem Volk und größere, deren sie für würdig erachtet werden;dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während derPrytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstelleauf der Akropolis; dass für die Herstellung der Stele unddie Aufstellung Sorge tragen und die entstandenen Kostenbegleichen die Schatzmeister der - - -- - -, damit, wenn dieses erfüllt wird, ein Wettstreit seiunter allen, dem Volk Wohltaten zu erweisen - - -- - -- - - Dank - - -zukommen - - -.Der Rat (und)das Volk fürErisS.d.
